We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurses (Scrub and Circulate) to join our surgical services team. These nurses play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting surgical teams through all phases of perioperative care.
Whether circulating or scrubbing, the OR RN ensures that procedures run smoothly, efficiently, and according to hospital and safety standards.
Prepare the operating room by setting up instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Function as a Scrub Nurse, maintaining sterile fields and assisting surgeons during procedures.
Function as a Circulating Nurse, managing patient care, verifying consents, and ensuring sterile protocols are followed.
Monitor patient condition throughout the procedure and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
Handle and label surgical specimens accurately.
Maintain proper documentation of surgical procedures and patient information.
Assist in patient preparation, positioning, and transfer to recovery.
Support infection control and ensure compliance with hospital safety policies.
Active RN license (state-specific).
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
1–3 years of Operating Room experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
Hospital or surgical center setting.
Collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists.
Fast-paced environment requiring precision, teamwork, and attention to detail.
