Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Long Term Care (LTC)
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care to residents in our Long Term Care (LTC) facility. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor their health, and ensure their safety and comfort in a supportive, respectful environment.
Assist residents with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report changes to nursing staff.
Provide nutritional support including feeding assistance and monitoring food and fluid intake.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Help residents with rehabilitation exercises and mobility programs.
Document resident care accurately in accordance with facility policies.
Assist in emergency situations following protocol.
Promote emotional well-being and social engagement of residents.
Follow infection control, safety, and privacy standards.
Valid CNA certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in LTC, skilled nursing, or assisted living preferred.
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and patient care procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift, transfer, and support residents safely.
LTC facility, nursing home, or similar healthcare setting.
Shift-based schedule including day, evening, or night shifts.
Hands-on patient care requiring physical stamina and empathy.
Patience, compassion, and professionalism.
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
