Job Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of the CPhT will be to assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain proper storage and labeling of medications
- Process insurance claims and assist with billing
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to patients
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a pharmacy setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficient in computer skills and pharmacy software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
