The LTC House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing clinical operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high-quality resident care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with facility standards and regulations. This role supports the nursing leadership team and serves as a key resource for residents, families, and clinical staff.
Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff during shifts.
Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and person-centered resident care.
Monitor staffing levels and make assignments based on resident acuity.
Serve as the point of contact for clinical issues, emergencies, and escalations.
Conduct rounds to assess resident conditions and staff performance.
Support new staff orientation and ongoing training.
Coordinate care with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Ensure compliance with LTC regulations, facility policies, and documentation standards.
Assist with quality improvement processes and audits.
Valid RN license (state-specific).
Minimum 2–3 years of LTC or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience required.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and manage emergency situations effectively.
Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
