Anesthesia Technician (Anesthesia Tech)

📝 Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgical teams in delivering safe and effective anesthesia care.
You will be responsible for preparing equipment, setting up anesthesia machines, maintaining supplies, and assisting during surgical procedures.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, fast-paced, and committed to patient safety.

🩺 Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment before procedures
Assist anesthesiologists and CRNAs during surgeries as needed
Clean, disinfect, and maintain anesthesia machines and instruments
Restock anesthesia supplies, medications, and emergency equipment
Perform equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance
Ensure availability of airway devices, monitoring systems, and IV supplies
Transport and position patients as required (under supervision)
Follow infection control and safety protocols
Document equipment checks and supply usage

🎓 Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
Certification as Anesthesia Technician (CER.A.T. or ASATT) preferred
Previous experience in OR, surgical services, or anesthesia department a plus
Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and sterile techniques
Strong communication, time-management, and multitasking skills
