Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room RN
Job Summary:
As a Travel RN Operating Room RN, you will work in a variety of healthcare settings across the country, providing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up equipment and ensuring sterile conditions
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and other supplies
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with post-operative care
- Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-operative care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of experience working in the operating room
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to travel and work in various healthcare settings
