We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to hospitalized patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients’ nutritional needs, developing and implementing individualized nutrition care plans, and supporting the overall health and recovery of patients through evidence-based nutrition practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed nutritional assessments for inpatients.
Develop and manage individualized nutrition care plans based on medical conditions.
Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for acute and chronic illnesses.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and lifestyle changes.
Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress using EMR/EHR systems.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Manage and support enteral and parenteral nutrition protocols.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Valid Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential.
Experience in hospital or clinical nutrition preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in clinical documentation and EMR systems.
