Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a correctional facility. The role focuses on delivering quality patient care, performing clinical assessments, administering medications, and ensuring the health and safety of incarcerated individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor inmate health status

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Provide emergency and routine medical care

• Monitor chronic conditions and infectious disease protocols

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EHR

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams

• Educate patients on health conditions and treatment plans

• Follow security and safety procedures in correctional settings

Required Skills

• Strong clinical decision-making and assessment skills

• Ability to work in secured and high-stress environments

• Excellent communication and professionalism

• Infection control and emergency response knowledge

Education & Licensure

• Active RN or LPN license (State) – Required

• BLS / CPR Certification – Required

Experience

• Prior correctional, emergency, or acute care experience preferred
