RN Unit Manager (Registered Nurse – Unit Manager)
The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations within a healthcare unit. This role ensures high-quality patient care, staff supervision, compliance with healthcare standards, and efficient unit management. The RN Unit Manager provides clinical leadership, supports nursing staff, and promotes a safe, patient-centered environment.
Supervise and manage nursing staff on the assigned unit
Ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care
Develop and maintain staff schedules
Monitor patient outcomes and clinical performance
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
Provide staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare teams
Manage unit operations, supplies, and equipment
Address patient and family concerns professionally
Support quality improvement and safety initiatives
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Previous leadership or supervisory experience
Strong clinical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
