Med Surg Adult – Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary:

The Med Surg Adult Staff RN provides high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. This role focuses on patient assessment, treatment, monitoring, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care
Develop and update patient care plans
Educate patients and families about treatment and recovery
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Respond to patient emergencies and changes in condition

Required Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
Strong clinical and patient care skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of hospital safety and infection control practices
