Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Technician - EEG to join our medical team. The Technician - EEG will be responsible for conducting EEG tests on patients to monitor and record brain activity. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for EEG testing, including applying electrodes to the scalp
- Conduct EEG tests according to established protocols and procedures
- Monitor and record brain activity during EEG testing
- Interpret test results and provide reports to medical staff
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Calibrate and maintain EEG equipment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the proper care and treatment of patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as an EEG Technician
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of EEG testing procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
