Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) CVICU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while traveling to various healthcare facilities across the United States.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in CVICU
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitor and assess patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
5. Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques
6. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
7. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVICU nursing
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
7. Willingness to travel and adapt to different work environments
8. Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours
