Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) PCU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care while traveling to various healthcare facilities across the United States. As a Travel RN PCU, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients in critical condition.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and monitor patients in the PCU setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to different locations
