Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Adult
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Adult to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and medical assessments in a fast-paced environment. The Travel RN will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch care to adult patients in medical surgical settings.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care practices
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in team meetings and trainings as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Previous experience working in a medical surgical setting
- BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to travel to different healthcare facilities
