Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator (Nurse Educator)
Job Summary:
The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Educator (Nurse Educator) is responsible for providing educational support to healthcare professionals, promoting best practices, and ensuring high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. This role involves traveling to different locations to train and mentor nursing staff, implementing evidence-based practice guidelines, and staying up-to-date on the latest healthcare advancements.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement educational programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify learning needs and tailor educational resources accordingly
- Provide hands-on training and support for new procedures, technologies, and protocols
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, answering questions and providing guidance as needed
- Stay informed on current healthcare trends, research, and best practices to ensure evidence-based care delivery
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN licensure and BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Previous experience in nurse education or clinical instruction preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel to different locations and work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- BLS certification and other relevant certifications may be required
