Job Title: Professional Cardiovascular and EP RN (Cardiovascular ICU)
Job Summary:
As a Professional Cardiovascular and EP RN in the Cardiovascular ICU, you will provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions and those undergoing electrophysiology procedures. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and support to individuals with complex cardiac needs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in the Cardiovascular ICU
- Monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and performing clinical procedures as needed
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educating patients and their families on cardiovascular conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities to enhance practice and patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Certification in Cardiovascular Nursing (CVRN) or Electrophysiology Nursing (CEPS) desired
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular or critical care nursing
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
