Job Title: Project Architect (Materials Manager)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Architect who will also take on the responsibilities of a Materials Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing architectural projects from conception to completion, managing materials selection and procurement, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for architectural projects.
2. Develop and present design concepts and plans to clients.
3. Oversee the entire architectural project lifecycle, from planning to construction.
4. Manage the selection and procurement of materials for architectural projects.
5. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
6. Monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
8. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that projects meet all architectural and design standards.
9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in architectural design and materials management.
10. Mentor and train junior architects and team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Project Architect and Materials Manager.
3. Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and building codes.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Strong project management and organizational skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Attention to detail and a strong eye for design aesthetics.
9. Leadership and team management skills.
