📝 Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Professional (Licensed Social Worker, Psychologist, Therapist, or Counselor) to join our interdisciplinary healthcare team. The role focuses on providing psychosocial support, behavioral therapy, counseling, and crisis intervention for patients in acute care, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

The professional will deliver evidence-based mental health treatment, support patients and families through challenging circumstances, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to improve overall patient well-being.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients in acute and medical care settings.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.).
Deliver crisis intervention, stabilization, and behavioral support for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
Support patients with chronic illness, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health challenges.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop personalized treatment and discharge plans.
Facilitate referrals to community resources, rehabilitation, and aftercare programs.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation per state and federal regulations.

🎓 Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work (MSW/LCSW/LICSW), Psychology (PhD/PsyD), Counseling, or Behavioral Health.
Valid state license (LCSW, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
Experience in acute care, hospital, behavioral health, or mental health counseling preferred.
Strong communication, empathy, and crisis management skills.

⭐ Preferred Skills:

Expertise in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, CBT/DBT.
Ability to manage complex cases in high-stress environments.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and hospital documentation systems.
Experience working with diverse populations across all age groups.
