📝 Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Acute Pharmacy Services to lead and oversee all inpatient and acute care pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal patient care through effective medication management, clinical collaboration, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the acute care setting.

⚕️ Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage acute care pharmacy operations, staff, and clinical programs.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation regulations.
Develop, implement, and monitor pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and leadership to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Oversee budgeting, inventory management, and resource allocation.
Guide formulary management and support cost-effective medication use.
Mentor pharmacy team members, fostering professional growth and development.
Participate in multidisciplinary committees and clinical improvement initiatives.

🎓 Qualifications:

PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Active pharmacist license in good standing.
Minimum 8–10 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
Strong understanding of acute care pharmacy operations and clinical management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with hospital information systems, regulatory standards, and quality metrics.
