Job Title: Registered Nurse Floor Nurse, Clinic
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse Floor Nurse will provide quality care to patients in a clinic setting. They will assess and document patient conditions, communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers, administer medications and treatments, and educate patients and families on healthcare management.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient conditions and progress
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient status and treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on healthcare management and disease prevention
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering injections
- Monitor and manage patient symptoms and reactions to medications
- Maintain accurate patient records and report any changes to healthcare providers
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Minimum of one year clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
