Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary:
As a LPN | RN, you will be responsible for providing high quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse. You will be required to administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the wellbeing of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Supervise nursing assistants and other support staff
Qualifications and Skills:
- LPN: Completion of a state-approved practical nursing program and passing the NCLEX-PN exam
- RN: Completion of a state-approved nursing program, either an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, and passing the NCLEX-RN exam
- Current state nursing license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
