Job Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. You will assist with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and mobility, while also ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with daily tasks, including feeding, bathing, and grooming.
2. Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
3. Help patients with mobility, such as transferring and positioning.
4. Assist with medical procedures, under the guidance of a nurse.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
7. Document patient care activities and communicate with healthcare team members.
8. Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Completion of an accredited LNA program.
3. Current LNA license in the state of practice.
4. CPR certification.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
7. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
8. Compassion and empathy for patients.
9. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.
10. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices.
