Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring the health and well-being of patients in various healthcare settings. This includes administering medications, performing treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver quality care to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments according to physician's orders
2. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
3. Assist with patient assessments and care planning
4. Provide wound care and other treatments as needed
5. Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
8. Adhere to all nursing standards and protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice
2. Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
5. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures
6. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
