Job Title: RN|LPN (Registered Nurse|Licensed Practical Nurse)
Job Summary:
The RN|LPN (Registered Nurse|Licensed Practical Nurse) will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients within a healthcare setting. They will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and will adhere to all regulatory standards and procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
2. Monitor patient vital signs and assess their overall health status
3. Perform routine procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and medication management
4. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
5. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
6. Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and timely
7. Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate nursing care
8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace
9. Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety standards
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Compassionate and empathetic bedside manner
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
