Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Triage
Job Summary:
As an RN Triage, you will be responsible for providing telephonic assessment, advice, and coordination of healthcare services for patients. You will use your clinical expertise to determine the urgency of patient needs and provide appropriate guidance and referrals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct telephonic health assessments for patients seeking advice or assistance.
2. Triage incoming phone calls and determine appropriate level of care needed.
3. Provide patient education and guidance on self-care and home management of health conditions.
4. Coordinate appointments with healthcare providers and referrals to specialists as needed.
5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license and BSN degree.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical nursing.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to make quick and accurate assessments of patients' health needs.
5. Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
