Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room
Job Summary:
We are seeking a competent and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality emergency care services to patients in our emergency room facility. As an RN, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and providing emotional support to both patients and families. You must be able to think critically and work well under pressure in this fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on urgency.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by the physician.
- Keep patient medical records up-to-date and accurate.
- Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary team members to provide continuity of care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding their condition and treatment plan.
- Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Active RN license within the state of practice.
- At least one year of ER experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Good clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including pushing, pulling, and lifting patients.
