Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) PCCU, IMC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care/Intermediate Care Unit (PCCU/IMC) team. The RN will provide patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment, monitoring and treating patients with various medical conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring patients' vital signs and overall health status.
2. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to create individualized care plans.
4. Performing various diagnostic tests and procedures.
5. Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families.
6. Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
7. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent education and experience.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
4. BLS and ACLS certification.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
7. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
