Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for women's health.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist with prenatal care, labor monitoring, and delivery procedures
- Provide emotional support to laboring mothers and their families
- Administer medications and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients on postpartum care and newborn care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Certification in Labor & Delivery nursing (L&D) is a plus
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of obstetric practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
