Job Description

Job Title: Food Services - Cook

Job Summary:

As a Cook in our food services department, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our customers. You will follow recipes, adhere to food safety standards, and ensure that all meals are cooked to perfection.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications

2. Ensure all food products are stored and handled properly

3. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area

4. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation

5. Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food safety protocols

6. Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

7. Collaborate with management to create new menu items and specials

8. Follow dietary restrictions and accommodate special requests as necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. Proven experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen setting

3. Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures

4. Excellent time management and organizational skills

5. Strong communication and teamwork abilities

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

7. Culinary degree or certification is a plus
