Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room (OR) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The successful candidate must have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare surgical operating room for patient procedures
2. Assist surgical team during procedures
3. Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
4. Administer medications and anesthesia as needed
5. Educate patients and families on post-operative care
6. Maintain accurate patient records
7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license
2. Graduate of an accredited nursing program
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Minimum of 2 years of OR experience
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
