Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and demonstrate clinical expertise in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
4. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
5. Document patient care and observations accurately in electronic medical records.
6. Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
7. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
8. Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing.
3. BLS and ACLS certifications.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
6. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
7. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
8. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
