Job Title: Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) - Laboratory
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. The MT/MLT will be responsible for conducting routine and complex laboratory tests, analyzing test results, and assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests in various departments such as hematology, microbiology, immunology, and clinical chemistry
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Analyze test results and report findings to physicians
- Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
- Adhere to quality control and safety guidelines
- Provide training and supervision to laboratory assistants and other staff members
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field for MT
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology for MLT
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems
- Knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality assurance procedures
