Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The LVN / LPN will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians.
2. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
3. Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) for patients.
4. Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to create individualized care plans.
6. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Completion of a state-approved LVN / LPN program.
2. Current LVN / LPN license in the state of practice.
3. CPR certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
7. Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.
