Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery, you will be responsible for providing care and support to women during childbirth. You will work closely with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and comfortable birthing experience for both mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess the health of mother and baby throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and assist with pain management techniques
- Provide emotional support and guidance to mothers and their families
- Assist with breastfeeding and other postpartum care
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for mother and baby
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Experience in Labor & Delivery preferred
