Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients. You will work closely with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and recovery of young patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Administer medications and treatments to pediatric patients as prescribed by physicians.
2. Monitor and assess the physical and emotional well-being of pediatric patients.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
4. Educate patients and families on proper care techniques and procedures.
5. Provide emotional support and counseling to pediatric patients and their families.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
7. Assist in procedures and surgeries involving pediatric patients.
8. Follow all hospital and legal regulations and guidelines for nursing care.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. BSN or higher degree in Nursing.
3. CPR and BLS certification.
4. Previous experience in pediatric nursing preferred.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Compassionate and patient-centered care approach.
8. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
