Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill patients in the ICU.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
4. Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions.
5. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and care instructions.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
8. Participate in continuous education and training to stay current on best practices in ICU nursing.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing.
4. ACLS and BLS certifications required.
5. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
7. Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.
8. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
