Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in critical condition. You will assess patients' needs, administer medication, perform emergency procedures, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing patients' conditions and collaborating with healthcare team to develop treatment plans
2. Administering medication and performing emergency procedures as needed
3. Monitoring patients' vital signs and response to treatment
4. Educating patients and their families on medical conditions and treatment options
5. Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort
7. Participating in continuous education and training to stay up-to-date on emergency room procedures and protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license and certification
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
6. Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to emergency situations
7. Knowledge of emergency room protocols and procedures
