Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, assess patients' conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patients' conditions on a continuous basis
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families
5. Provide education and support to patients and their families
6. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
8. Keep up-to-date with advances in medical technology and treatments
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license
2. BLS and ACLS certification
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting
4. Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
7. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
8. Strong organizational and time-management skills
