Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Room (ER) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in emergency situations, assess and prioritize patient needs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and triage patients in the emergency room
- Provide rapid and accurate patient assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
- Educate patients and their families on medications, treatments, and follow-up care
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous experience in an emergency room setting preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent teamwork and organizational skills
