Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and critical care environment. The RN will work closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess patient conditions in the ICU.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
4. Educate patients and their families on care plans, treatments, and medications.
5. Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
6. Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
8. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
3. BLS and ACLS certifications.
4. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in patient care documentation.
