Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
4. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment options
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
6. Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary interventions
7. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
8. Perform various nursing procedures and interventions as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active RN license in the state of practice
2. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
3. BLS and ACLS certifications
4. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry nursing
5. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
8. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
