Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and Critical Care Unit (CCU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with critical cardiovascular conditions in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to delivering compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment in the CVICU and CCU
- Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular or critical care nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
