Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac, Float, Med Surg/Telemetry, Neurology
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in various departments including Cardiac, Float, Med Surg/Telemetry, and Neurology. The ideal candidate will be able to float between units as needed and possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, administering medications, and implementing treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in status
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare needs and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac, Float, Med Surg/Telemetry, or Neurology nursing
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
