Job title: Registered Nurse (RN) Float
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Float to provide compassionate and high-quality patient care across various departments and units in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, be adaptable to different work environments, and have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide direct patient care in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Emergency, and other units as needed.
2. Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans.
6. Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history.
7. Maintain accurate documentation of nursing assessments and interventions.
8. Adhere to facility policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.
2. BLS certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in acute care settings.
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing work environments.
