Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit. You will monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry data
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Document patient care and observations accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
