Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), your role will be to provide support and assistance to individuals and families facing various social, emotional, and psychological challenges. You will assess clients' needs, develop treatment plans, and connect them with resources and services to improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs and strengths.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
3. Provide counseling and psychotherapy to individuals, families, and groups.
4. Advocate for clients and assist them in accessing community resources and services.
5. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
7. Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and social service agencies, to coordinate care for clients.
8. Stay informed about social work best practices, ethics, and regulations.
9. Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
10. Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Master's degree in social work from an accredited program.
2. Licensed as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of practice.
3. Knowledge of social work theories, techniques, and ethics.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
6. Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude.
7. Organizational and time management skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
9. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
10. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality.
