Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care (LTC)
Job Summary:
Our long-term care facility is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care nursing and a passion for helping elderly patients maintain their quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, feeding, and mobility
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Implement infection control measures
- Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding long-term care nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current LVN/LPN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in long-term care nursing preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
