Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) OB/GYN
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our OB/GYN team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to women throughout all stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. The RN will work closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the health and well-being of mothers and their babies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care to pregnant women, including screenings, assessments, and education
- Assist with childbirth, including labor support, monitoring fetal heart rate, and providing postpartum care
- Perform gynecological exams, screenings, and procedures as needed
- Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support to patients
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Certification in Obstetrics/Gynecology Nursing (ONC) preferred
- CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems
- Experience in OB/GYN nursing preferred
