Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER), Med Surg
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) and Med Surg department, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality patient care to individuals in need of urgent medical attention. You will assess patient needs, administer medication, monitor vital signs, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and ensure the overall well-being of each patient.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and triage patients in the Emergency Room (ER) setting
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
3. Monitor and record patient vital signs
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
5. Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment options
6. Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) or Med Surg setting
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
