Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehab
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Rehab is responsible for providing direct patient care in a rehabilitation setting. This includes assessing patient needs, creating individualized care plans, monitoring progress, and providing education and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
4. Monitor and evaluate patient progress
5. Provide education and support to patients and families
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
7. Document patient care and progress accurately
8. Adhere to all healthcare regulations and protocols
9. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license
2. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
3. Previous experience in rehabilitation nursing
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
6. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and protocols
7. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
8. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
9. Compassion and empathy for patients
10. Basic computer skills
